Tender’s boot laces are braided in England on mechanical machines from cotton yarn around a cotton core. The braid is cylindrical, and the laces are tipped with metal caps to make them durable and easy to thread.
The laces are unwaxed, and are available in raw ecru cotton or dyed with natural pigments. They are 90cm (36″) long and are suitable for shoes or boots with between 3 and 6 sets of holes. Dyed laces arrive slightly shorter than the ecru, as they have been washed, but stretch out immediately to full length.
Please note that the colour in natural dyed laces may transfer onto light coloured footwear- we recommend wearing with similar colours, or enjoying the colour transfer around the lace holes and tongue.
