Tender’s card case is cut, sewn, and foil embossed in England from leather tanned in England for 18 months with oak bark. After tanning the leather is heavily greased by hand, to keep it strong and supple.
A central piece of full-thickness belt leather is wrapped with a thinner panel, making a snug pocket on each side, suitable for standard credit cards. It works very nicely as a holder for a contactless travel card, and could also keep folded notes.
The leather is heavily greased, which can leave a white residue on the surface of the skin, especially visible on the black stained version- this will rub off easily, and is a desireable characteristic of this natural product.
