COTTON CALICO YARN
Knitted pullovers are made with weaving yarn taken from the pro- duction of Tender’s calico cloth. Spun for weaving, the yarn untwists slightly as it is knitted, giving the fabric a particularly pronounced tex- ture.
The yarn is not pre-skewed, and in a plain knit all the stitches are pointed in the same direction, which causes the pullovers to skew dramatically when they are washed or dyed. Pullovers appear short when they are new, but will stretch down and form to their owner as they are worn in, much like hand-knitted garments, or raw denim jeans.
