TYPE 944 LINED FOLDED MORNING COAT
The Lined Folded Morning Coat is collarless, based on 18th Century frock coats. The fronts and hem are cut round, like a tail coat, and then folded back to created a straight placket and seat. The front, neck, and hem are all bound in one run, with custom- made cotton bias binding, and the whole coat is fully lined with woollen blanket cloth, cut loomstate so that it is shrunk with the outer cloth during dyeing or washing.
