The Rolled Edge pullover is an edited version of a traditional crew neck pullover. The panels are fully fashioned, the sleeves are set in with a saddle seam, and the neck is constructed traditionally with a linked-on collar, but the collar edge, cuffs, and hem are not closed, so that the loose edges roll back on themselves, showing the inside of the knitted fabric.

The lambswool is spun in Scotland as a traditional Shetland yarn, and it wears light but warm.
